Who offers credit insurance?

ERM works with all credit insurance underwriters operating in the U.S. to ensure our clients obtain the best possible coverage at the lowest cost available.

Coverage is offered by a growing number of commercial insurance companies, as well as by the U.S. Government, through the Export-Import Bank of the United States, usually referred to as Ex-Im Bank.

Ex-Im Bank is a small, independent federal agency, based in Washington, D.C.  ERM was named "Broker of the Year" by Ex-Im Bank in 2001.

In addition to Ex-Im Bank, these underwriters include such prestigious and competitive markets as American International Group (AIG), Atradius, Coface, EulerHermes, Exporters Insurance Company, FCIA Management Company, HCC Credit,  Lloyd's of London, and Zurich.

With the exceptions of Lloyd's of London and Ex-Im Bank, all underwriters listed can insure either domestic (U.S.) or export transactions, or both. Lloyd's and Ex-Im Bank are not permitted to insure U.S.-domiciled companies against U.S.-based credit risks.

There is generally no additional cost to work with ERM, as we are compensated by the underwriters.

Due to state and national insurance regulations, not all options are available in all locales.
